Enter the heart of creation and discover the artists at work!
The Paris National Opera offers Arop members the privilege of observing the work of the artists and the genesis of a production at different times: work sessions, pre-dress rehearsals and dress rehearsals.
LA NUIT ET L'AMOUR
The Academy artists’ Gala with the Paris Opera Orchestra is an opportunity for the public to listen to a new generation of opera artists on the stage of the Palais Garnier.
This season, the artists in residence and the musicians of the Orchestra explore the themes of night and love through the French and British repertoires (Holmès, Debussy, Poulenc, Britten, Ravel), conducted by Stephanie Childress.
The night becomes a place of confidences, loss or apparitions in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Pelléas et Mélisande and The Rape of Lucretia. Love, for its part, inhabits the duets of Les Carmélites, the thwarted passions of Peter Grimes, the amorous games of L'Heure espagnole, or Ravel's troubling tales of childhood.
