Subscriptions

The prices listed are valid only until September 1st, 2021. No tickets purchased as part of your subscription can be refunded. Your tickets can be exchanged on the performance of your choice under the following conditions:

To exchange your tickets reserved as part of Prestige and À la Carte subscriptions (excluding Galas), Arop teams must have the tickets by the following deadlines:

  • Friend: up to one month before the performance date
  • Donor: up to 15 days before the performance date
  • Benefactor: up to 7 days before the performance date
  • Patron: up to 48 hours before the performance date
  • Founding Patron: up to 24 hours before the performance date

Dinners and cocktails cannot be cancelled less than 7 days before the performance date (15 days for Galas).

For Prestige Subscription tickets

Prestige subscriptions allow you to exchange your tickets, free of charge, for the performance of your choice in the same category (subject to availability).

For A la Carte subscription tickets

The À La Carte subscription will allow you to exchange your tickets on the performance and category of your choice (within the limit of available seats):

  • if the price of the ticket purchased in the subscription, excluding the amount of the donation, is higher than the price of the exchanged ticket, you will receive a credit voucher corresponding to the difference in price.
  • If the price of the ticket purchased as part in the subscription, excluding the amount of the donation, is less than the price of the exchanged ticket, a supplement will be charged.

Galas

Galas are open to all, Arop members or not, companies as well as individuals. Any request for seats confirmed by Arop is considered as a definite reservation, which cannot be cancelled without charge.The gala prices indicated are valid only until september 1st, 2021.

Depending on the length of the performances, which will be determined at a later date, cocktails will be held before the performances or at intermission, and dinners will be offered during intermissions or after the performances.

Seating categories and prices for galas may differ from those for other performances.


Premium Tickets

BOOKING REQUEST

All requests for tickets must be made in writing, by mail, e-mail or fax as follows :

  • at the latest 10 working days before the date of the desired performance for seats with catering service (cocktail and restaurant);

  • at the latest 2 working days before the performance date for seats without catering.

All confirmations are final. No options can be taken.

Catering services (cocktail party and restaurant) must apply to a minimum of 6 seats for a single performance.

Requests for "Premium Tickets" must specify the performance, the time and date chosen, the number of seats, the billing address (for the invoice and tax receipt) as well as the optional services and the amount of the donation chosen.

INVOICING

After receiving your booking confirmation, the Association pour le Rayonnement de l'Opéra national de Paris (Arop) will confirm your reservation and send you an invoice, to be paid upon receipt or at the latest 10 working days before the performance for the "Premium Ticket". Any reservation made less than 10 working days before the event must be paid within 48 hours of the request.

If payment is not received within the above-mentioned period, the Customer will be deemed to have cancelled the "Premium Ticket" and the optional services attached thereto and will be liable for cancellation fees (see paragraphs 4 and 5).

We draw your attention to the fact that the issue and transmission of tickets are conditional upon their prior payment.

The means of payment are as follows :

  • bank or postal cheque made out to Arop in euros and cleared in France,
  • credit card : VISA, Mastercard or American Express,
  • bank transfer to Arop's account.

ACOMPTE

In the case of a "Premium Ticket", any purchase of 10 seats or more must be accompanied, at the time of booking, by the payment of a deposit as follows: 50€ per seat for a recital or the Dance School; 100€ per seat for a ballet; 150€ per seat for an opera. The balance must be paid at least 10 working days before the performance. In case of a postponement of reserved seats, this deposit will be applied to the reservation replacing the previous one.

PREMIUM TICKET CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Any total or partial cancellation by the Customer must be notified in writing (mail, fax or e-mail).

The donation remains definitively acquired.

In case of partial cancellation of a reservation with catering services (cocktail and restaurant), the number of participants remaining in the room will be reduced by the number of participants.

In case of partial cancellation of a reservation with catering (cocktail and restaurant), the number of remaining participants may not be less than 6.

In case of cancellation, the following deductions will be made from places and services :

  • 15% of the invoiced amount including VAT for a cancellation - total or partial - occurring after the sending by Arop of the acknowledgement of receipt of your order or your invoice from 30 to 21 working days before the performance.

  • 30% of the amount invoiced for a cancellation - total or partial - occurring between 20 and 11 working days before the performance.

  • 50% of the amount invoiced for a cancellation - total or partial - occurring between 10 and 3 working days before the performance.
  • 100% of the amount invoiced for a cancellation occurring less than 3 working days before the performance.

These cancellation fees will be the subject of an invoice, payable upon receipt.

In case of cancellation by the National Paris Opera, the Arop will refund all sums paid by the Client, subject to the return of all tickets and, if applicable, all programs already sent within a maximum of one month from the date of receipt of the necessary documents for the refund.

The Paris Opera reserves the right to modify the performances presented, and in particular to offer a concert version, if conditions do not allow the performance to be presented as planned.

In the event of force majeure, which expressly includes the requisitioning of the Opera by any public authority for any reason whatsoever, and in the event of a national strike, making it impossible to organize the planned event, your reservation will be cancelled by right, without further formality or compensation.

If the performance has to be interrupted for more than half of its duration, your performance will not be refunded.

Casting is not guaranteed.

CANCELLATION / MODIFICATIONS / EXCHANGES OF THE PREMIUM TICKET BY THE CUSTOMER

Any modification of the order by the client that may affect the catering services must be notified by mail, fax or e-mail at least 10 working days before the performance.

The Arop may exchange the tickets for another performance or another formula, subject to availability, and provided that the Client returns all documents (tickets, program and champagne vouchers, etc.) no later than 11 working days before the date of the performance. Exchanges are limited to 2 per season (4 for members of the Corporate Club).

It is not possible to postponed to a later season.

If the 11 business day period is not respected, the Customer will be deemed to have cancelled the Premium Ticket reservation and will be liable for the cancellation fees described in paragraph 4.

CONDITIONS FOR SENDING THE PREMIUM TICKET

Performance tickets will only be sent to you by regular mail. They will be accompanied by "champagne" coupons and "program" cards for the performance (only if these options have been chosen). The programs will be given to the guests on the evening of the performance at the relevant ticket offices in the theaters' lobby in exchange for these cards.

L'Arop cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or delayed mail.

In case that the Customer has not received his/her tickets at least 5 working days before the date of the performance, he/she should contact the Business Department on +33 01 40 01 24 60.

The Customer may, if he/she wishes, have his/her tickets delivered by a courier at his/her own expense, provided that he/she informs Arop in advance.

In the case of late reservations, i.e. less than 10 working days before the date of the performance for tickets with catering and 2 working days before the date of the performance for tickets without catering, the tickets, "champagne" vouchers and programs can be given to the Customer on the evening of the performance, at the theater control.

Duplicates: No duplicates will be issued, unless specifically agreed upon by the Paris National Opera. In this case, the duplicates must be picked up at the relevant ticket offices in the lobby of the theaters on the evening of the bookedperformance. The issue of duplicates invalidates the original tickets.


Security/Conditions of admission to the theater

The Customer agrees to comply with all safety regulations and rules, both the legal requirements for establishments open to the public and the directives issued by the Paris Opera.

Each ticket entitles the customer to only one seat.

The doors of the halls will be closed from the beginning of the performance (when the curtains rise).

Latecomers can only be seated at the end of the first scene or during the intermission.

It is forbidden to photograph, film or record in the theater.
