The Galas aim to raise funds to support the creation of new shows at the Paris Opera and to open the doors to all audiences.

Tickets for these events are sold at a premium price. The surcharge applied to the price of tickets is considered by the tax authorities as a donation.

The amount of the donation entitles the donor to a 66% reduction in income tax up to a limit of 20% of taxable income.
