Lyrical productions

The Paris Opera’s programming has a threefold ambition: to enrich the company’s repertoire, notably by commissioning new shows; to promote identity, by highlighting the Paris Opera’s heritage and works in the French language, some of which are little-known; and to create variety, thereby providing audiences with a panorama of four centuries of opera drawing from diverse aesthetics.

It is a point of pride for the Paris Opera to call upon a new generation of operatic talent, some of whom are making their debut at the Palais Garnier or the Opéra Bastille, alongside internationally renowned soloists.
