By joining the Cercle Taglioni, you can contribute to the educational and artistic vitality of the Ballet School! This circle was named after Marie Taglioni (1804-1884), an emblematic ballerina of the Romantic style who originated the role in La Sylphide, and led the Ballet School from 1860 to 1870. 

The Cercle Taglioni’s aim is to provide long-term support for the School’s principal missions: teaching, by nurturing the talents of all students, regardless of situation or background; stage experience, through ambitious programming each season and enrichment of the School’s repertoire; the working environment, with development and support of the School’s health center; and outreach, by means of facilitating the recording and distributing performance recordings, masterclasses, and international exchanges.
